Technical Notes

Abstracts

Abstracts have to be submitted in English. The formal requirements for the abstracts are explained in the section Registration and Abstracts. Please do not forget to place your participant ID (the last five digits of your booking number) in the subject heading of your e-mail.

Language

The official conference language is English.  Posters are admitted in Spanish and Portuguese.

Talks

Presentations are 15 minutes plus 5 minutes discussion. Please use .pdf as presentation format. PowerPoint (.ppt) is accepted, but a correct presentation cannot be guaranteed.

Please bring your presentations on USB flash memory to the conference desk when you sign on.

Posters (NEW INFO!)

Only poster size accepted is A0 portrait (no landscape format!).

We offer the option of printing your poster onsite. We will only accept A0 PDF files.

You will need a Campus-Card for this service which we offer at the conference desk.

Printing takes 3 steps:

1) Upload your poster file for checking at the conference desk (remember, only A0 PDF).

2) Pay at the nearby Info Center in the URZ Building (INF 293) and pick up your printing voucher.

3) Bring your voucher to the poster printing service next to the conference building and arrange your printing.

4) Present your poster at the LAK.

Conference Proceedings

We plan a special volume with contributions from participants in the Neue Jahrbuch für Geologie und Paläontolgie. For further information on the journal please visit its website. Instructions for authors can be downloaded here. Deadline for submission will be at the meeting.
