Open Position Scientific employee (f/m/d)
The Institute of Earth Sciences at Heidelberg University is seeking, at the earliest possible date, but no earlier than October 2026, a scientific employee (TV-L E 13, 100%) with comprehensive expertise in the use of electron microprobe (EPMA), scanning electron microscope (SEM–EBSD), as well as Raman spectroscopy, with a focus on the development of new methods in the field of metamorphic and magmatic petrology. The scientific employee shall, within the framework of their own and already ongoing projects, build up and apply expertise in method development. The position is located at Heidelberg University (Baden-Württemberg, Germany) and is initially limited to three years, with the possibility of extension.
